06 / Snagging, De-snagging & Handover

Before accepting a property, clients need to know what has actually been completed, and what hasn't.

BuildWise carries out a comprehensive inspection covering the property's architectural, civil, electrical and mechanical elements, including drainage, AC and relevant handover documentation.

Inspection scope:
Architectural — Finishes, fixtures, doors, windows and visible defects.
Civil — Construction elements and visible workmanship.
Electrical — Electrical installations and fixtures.
Mechanical — Mechanical systems, AC and drainage.
Documentation — Relevant handover documents and information.
Our Process

Five stages to
handover.

01

Review

We begin with the available architectural plans and information about the property.

02

Inspect

Our team carries out a detailed inspection across the property. Depending on the property, this can take several hours to a full day.

03

Report

Findings are documented in a structured report, typically delivered within 2–3 days.

04

De-snag

Where required, we return to review outstanding items and verify corrective works.

05

Handover

The client has a clearer picture of the property's condition and outstanding requirements before completing handover.
